Jane lived in England. Surprisingly, the tenth safest country ghouls and humans could inhabit. She had friends and had already started her first year of college (studying to work in the laboratories of the CCG).
Jane was used to the safety Britain had to offer.
Yet still, her CCG investigator dad -a special class in fact- engrained that ghouls were better seen and not heard- alive but not living.
Already, her sister had ignored the warnings of the creatures' true nature and moved to Japan: a country with a high scale ghoul threat. Ghouls were the second most cause of death in Japan after strokes and they had a threatening number of Ghoul organisations.
What will Jane do when her father is offered a job in Japan to handle their ghoul problem? And she starts to like a pretty, blonde stranger?
