"Ace, please. We need your help. Dad is still missing, and we can't find him."

"He's dead by now, because your style of searching is pretty fucked up. Took you twenty years to find me after the wreck you abandoned me in."

The line between danger and safety. A line that Lieutenant Ace Winchester walks very carefully. A line that until one day, he had reckless abandon towards. As a lieutenant for Chicago Fire Department, company 51, Ace knows all too well what a quick movement or a reckless decision can bring.

But one day, his illusion of safety is shattered with a phone call. A phone call from his brothers who he hadn't heard from in years. A phone call pleading for help.

Will Ace be able to survive the blaze? Or will it consume him alive?
