Eleonore Tegan, one of the top warriors who fought for the human race in the last war, is now one of the main guards protecting one of the human territories that is entirely surrounded by werewolves. Eros Mas, the Alpha of the surrounding pack, is planning on taking over the city, and making use of its rich soil and its great military advantages. What happens, however, when Eros finds that his mate is the sassy female guard, who stops at nothing to protect her people, even if it means killing the person she's meant to be with.
