It's been almost 100 years since the old Dimitrescu Castle had been inhabited.
100 years since Ethan Winters managed to defeat the rumored threat of Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters
As time would have it, the old castle was fixed up, cleaned, and even refurbished to modern-day tastes.
But something about it always seemed to keep the old and chilling aspect of the entire building, freezing it within time.
Never letting it go.
Though no one had even dared to attempt visiting or living there, so it became a well-known spot for vandalism of all sorts.
Spray paint, broken windows and glass, half-scorched walls, and crumbling frames.
But every so often, a person would find themselves going up to the castle.
And never being seen again.
Old memories lurk in those forgotten shadows.
Old memories with a lust for bloodshed.
While the old inhabitants were long gone, too many of the townspeople created stories of how their presence still lingered in the old halls and eerie forests.
