I looked at the creature dead in the eyes. I held my breath, as neither of us moved.
My fear was overwhelming but somehow I didn't collapse. It felt like I would be ripped to pieces if I so-called dare to do anything. It just felt like that was what it was telling me.
There was nothing with us besides me and the creature. Everything else, gone.
