So despite what he thinks, Luci changes on Earth.
Specifically when he meets Winter.
"Uncovering" follows Luci, from Disenchantment, after he meets a woman named Winter during a party later in season 1 (part 1). Separated into three parts, "Water" follows Luci, "Stone" Winter, and "Fire" their daughter, Rowan. In telling the story, I also include my own personal end to Disenchantment season 1 part 1, so a brief spoiler warning. Also a trigger warning for cursing and some darker content later on, including PTSD, depression, murder, and suicide.
Disclaimer: This is my first fanfiction, and so comments and constructive criticism would be much appreciated!
Also, briefly in the first two parts and the entirety of the third part, the characters are also in a world that references the Zones of Thought series by Vernor Vinge and another fanfiction of mine I have yet to write. You don't need to have read the ZOT books to understand the story though.

I started this fanfiction out of pure spite and annoyance to the people who said 'omg chani left she's not coming back she's gonna be the villain in Dune 3'. No, Paul said he saw her come back and what Paul sees in the future is an absolute, so I made this with a goal in mind to show how Chani's return could be made, and this is just one form of many. Additionally I found it interesting to write about restoring house Harkonnen and the Bene Gesserit plotting against Paul to begin. Bless the maker and his waters, bless the coming and going of him.
