Deja vu.
That sense that you've done this before.
That's all Lance feels after he awakes after a particularly nasty fight involving Lotor.
As Lance walks the castle halls, he feels the strangest sense that he's been in this same position before. He feels as though he knows what's about to happen before it even happens because he's seen it done already.
His head is all foggy, clear thoughts evading him and he isn't sure how to stop it. Unable to clear his head or think, Lance isn't even able to figure out what is going on.
But one thing is certain, something is definitely wrong and he needs to get to the bottom of it.
Through his investigation he finds that one person seemingly makes his mind a little less foggy, a person he isn't so eager to spend his time with.

Keith was in and out of the hospital for all of his life. He often snuck out of his room to wander the halls in an attempt to stifle his boredom. When he was ten years old, he found a boy in a coma-and he happened to be around his age. He would often talk to him about his day and bring him toys. But one day, the boy was gone without a trace. Lance was nine years old when he was in a major car accident. His injuries were extensive and he was put into a medically-induced coma. When he woke up, he recovered fully and returned home. Damaged Beyond Repair
Lance knows that he's annoying. He knows that he's a flirt, and that his jokes are always terrible. That's why the kidnapping by the Galra fleet, didn't bother him all that much. His team would just be better off without him getting in the way of everything. He just slowed them down. The Galra need information. Every blow they shot at the paladins of Voltron, didn't seem to do much. The capture of the Blue Lion and its rider was what they needed to find out how to win against the pesky earthlings.
