Catching Carter

Meet Carter Rose Saunters. She just wants to be left alone. She has learned to be content with how her life has turned out. After a tragic accident that left her brother-less and mother-less, Carter had to grow up fast. Her father distracts himself with work and never has time to go home, let alone for his own daughter.
Carter has learned to only depend on herself. She seeks comfort in her four friends. But even they don't know how deep the scars in her heart run.
As an attempt to keep Carter from being 'lonely', her fathers decides to house an exchange student from England. To her shock it happens to be a boy instead of the girl she had imagined. Eli quickly becomes popular but he keeps insisting on getting to know Carter.
Carter manages to keep the british boy at bay, but when an unwelcome visit from the past shows up on her front doorstep, Carter might need the british boy. That scares her.
