I'm keeping this up 1 bc this is the most reads any story of mine will possibly ever get and 2 because I might remake it one day and I want to base it off the original lol

They might have been smarter than their peers, much more knowledgeable too, but they were still just normal humans with hobbies, interests, and friends. 3700 years later, they awoke to a new world. Free of humans and their greed, free of the destroyed earth. Free from everything. So what would be the most logical thing to do? Rebuild the civilization, skip 2 million years of evolution, and go straight for quite advanced science. Mother Earth, which had almost four millennia to fix itself, was now again quite healthy, giving humans a big chance to advance in their science. But still, they were just teens, rebuilding a scientific civilization, getting robbed of their last three years of freedom. Who'd want that? Getting robbed of high school romance and drama. Getting robbed of all their favourite things... Even though one of them couldn't care less about that. But maybe all this will help them realize how they feel about things. Hikari has always been friends with Senku, Taiju and Yuzuriha. It's always been the four of them. While Taiju loved Yuzuriha and Yuzuriha loved Taiju, Hikari found herself falling head over heels in love with Senku. And she told blurted it out one time when they were real young that she wanted to stay by his side because she loved him. But it's been so long, she thought he'd forgotten, something illogical as that, wasn't something Senku paid attention to, but he paid attention to her. She was the only one he truly let into his heart aside from science. When the beam of light covers the sky, Hikari gets scared and looks to the only person that makes sense, Senku. She grabs tightly onto him and the two of them are turned to stone together. 3,700 years later, in the year 5738, a minute after Senku wakes up, while in the middle of getting his bearings, Hikari wakes up, begins crying, hugging him, like she had been doing before they were turned to stone. Senku calms her down and tells her that there's more important things than reminding him of her feelings for him, as he already knew about her feelings. He tells her that centuries had passed and they needed to figure out how to survive. That meant gathering food, water, find shelter and clothing. When she looks to see what he means by that, she freaks out and hides behind a tree until he gets her something to cover up with. His brain didn't fully grasp the problem that she was naked, but he found her something to cover up with. Six months later, Taiju wakes up and the Kingdom of Science begins the restoration of humanity together!
