Ethan Smith is entering sophmore year. The only thing that keeps him at bay is Artie Weverton, after being adopted at age six, by Veronica Smith. He was adopted with his brother Lincoln. After starting to be abused by Veronica threatening to hurt Lincoln, he seeks help from his old preschool teacher. Lincoln is taken in to another home. Soon enough the abuse gets worse, and Ethan starts to lose control on sanity, and he becomes worried how close his mother can really get before she finds out his secrets.
