Mischief wasn't the best side to associate with. He was troublesome and oftentimes had almost hurt someone in some way, unfortunately , it was just his way of fun.
Mischief is the embodiment of Thomas', well, mischief, he wasn't dark nor light, he was a neutral side. Thomas didn't even know he existed until he showed up after one of his episodes. Along the way, everyone learns who he is as a trait, and maybe even more.

Everyone knows that once upon a time Virgil Sanders was a Dark Side of Thomas's personality, he was once known to be Paranoia but he never felt like he belonged anywhere and on either side. Though today he is considered to be a hybrid now; he is a balance of both, he is light and he is dark but thankfully he is no longer an enemy of Thomas or the other Light Sides. Not sure whether to see them as a threat or what they are planning has Virgil on edge. Soon he notices that Thomas is starting to fall closer into darkness and is slowly beginning to weaken and infect his new family.
