'He couldn't sleep that night. It was a horrible night, one of the worst, yet - it felt so familiar...Why? He hasn't had any nightmares since...since his mother's alerted death. But what could it mean? He knew she was dead, she died in his arms. So why was he seeing nightmares like that again?'
A story I wrote in 2017, after becoming a die-hard fan of Star Wars. Anakin always fascinated me as a character, and mostly, his choice to protect Padme from death - how could he have become that he always swore to fight and destroy? Sith are bad, but so are the Jedi. There is only the grey line...

With Darth Vader the Dark Side grew strong yet in the end, he killed the Emperor, not only redeeming himself but also finally restoring balance to the Force as the prophecy had foretold. But by the time balance was restarted it was already too late... The Dark Side of the Force had a grip on the galaxy that the Light simply couldn't match. The only way balance could be restored was by making that Anakin Skywalker fulfilled his role as the Chosen One without falling into darkness first. It was said before...dark times approach as the sun and the moon go by, and it was true. Everyone that could, as well as everyone that couldn't, were able to feel it somehow. That darkness felt like a knot in the throat, a tickle in the pit of the stomach, a shiver in the bones...and it felt closer. The Clone Wars continued to escalate and they seemed to have no end, our heroes grew tired everyday and wondered if this could be called "a life" anymore; their happiness seemed to last merely seconds, specially since the team no longer is what it once was. However, not everything is sadness, not everything is sorrow. There's also love, there's also happiness, and most importantly, there's hope. Hope that everything will get better, hope that there could be a bright future for the Galaxy and it's inhabitants. The questions that remained were if this light could defeat the darkness, if good could overcome evil, if people could remain happy, if love was really the strongest power, if angels could turn into demons and if those angels could defeat demons or if demons could turn back into angels. There's only one way to find out, by travelling through the second part of this story. We'll watch the Battle of the Heroes, we'll listen to the Duel of the Fates and we'll see if there's a New Hope. We'll see if good prevails or if it is defeated by the shadows once and for all. I, General Grim, wage this war beside the CIS against the Republic and the Jedi. I do not care for the war, but I WILL have my revenge for what they did to me... I do not care if I die. I do not care if I live. All that matters is me slaughtering all of the Jedi and having my revenge once and for all. Is there anything in space of me? Probably not, but I do not seek companionship, I do not seek acceptance. I only seek the blood of the Jedi on my claws. I have trained in dark side, my rage, aggregation, and hatred multiplying every second I live. There is no quelling my emotions. However I find as I walk with the Sith they have their own weakness similar to the Jedi. Even against the wishes of Count Dooku I grasp at every form of the force. Even though I twist the powers of the light side I will not, nor can I, be stopped.
