Juliana and Lupe have moved to the East Midlands in England to start a new life away from El Chino. Juliana has started a new career as a firefighter, where she met her best friend Shannon.

Valentina works for a local newspaper as a journalist in the same city as Juliana. They unexpectedly cross paths as Valentina sets her kitchen on fire after a stressful, exhausting day.

Little did they know that Valentina's clumsiness would bring the women together in an unconventional fashion.
