Parallel Prophet

Keith is a high schooler with a gift. He can see the future, and he's seen what his closest friend, Max, must do, to save two worlds. So, he sent his friend off to another world, while he must stay and contemplate what will happen. But, with an unaccounted fault in his friend's transportation, Keith has gained the abilities of the world, which are shockingly similar to that of a video game.

So, he decides to use the power he and a few others gained to help hide his time in his world while Max saves what could very well be the multiverse.
