18-year old Jenny Crambridge has one wish and one wish only; to walk again.
When Jenny was 13 years old, she was in a fatal car crash with her older sister, Martha. Martha died almost instantly, and Jenny barely surviving herself. For the past 5 years, she has been paralyzed from the waist down, forced to live her life in a wheelchair and the horror of watching her big sister die.
Living in small town Louisiana, life hasn't exactly been easy for Jenny in a wheelchair. Her life had changed so drastically- she used to be popular, be surrounded by friends and boys, and be on the cheerleading squad. All of that changed after the accident, and Jenny's happy life quickly turned into a depressing and dark nightmare. Everything she had ever cared about disappeared, leaving her lonely and alone- all because of a chair.
At the start of her senior year, Jenny begins to question her point in living- all the teasing, looks, and loneliness was starting to haunt her. But suddenly, simply one boy comes into her life and changes all of that. He helps Jenny accept herself for who she is, and makes her realize how beautiful she really is- wheelchair and all.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
