Eight different girl ,eight different personalities all sharing one huge secret they're mermaids. Three of them have been mermaids since they were eight and the other five have always had the potential but never realized it until all eight families visit a magical cove and something magical happens. Now all eight girls have to adapt to their new found permanent powers. And avoid water unless they wanna blow their secret on land in front of everyone. Thats not easy when you live at a city thats 85% water. Not to mention the ocean themed restaurants, water based amusement parks ,
thousands of businesses that depend on water and marine biologists that come in and out of the city from time to time. Life is hard when your a mermaid and you have water practically as your own backyard. But when they combine their powers they can do anything and hopefully survive the summer with their own and eachothers crazy families. Not to mention boys and they start alot of trouble on the way...However they got eachothers back...

A swim gone wrong causes my twin sister to begin to fear the water. She barely even touches it. I went missing when it happened, everyone thinks I drowned, and died. Before Lucia tries to get out of the water, she was suddenly transformed into a mermaid by the two white witches. There are two ways to break the spell before her time is up by the next month. If Lucia gets a kiss by the merman, she'll be a mermaid for all eternity. If the princess gets a kiss from the prince on land, she will be human again. If not, she will be lost in the world of water. Will Lucia see her family again as a mermaid? How is she going to reach them if she can't swim as a mermaid? Princess Lucia was new to be a mermaid. Just like her brother she has dyslexia but can read Greek somehow and she can hold her breath underwater for long time and she doesn't speak a lot. There's a reason or that. See their mother is mortal but their father is the G-D of the sea. But all her twin brother Percy knows is that he thinks their father left them. They really don't belong in this world they have powers but all magic comes with a price I fear. For one their mother remarried to this pig he has no respect for women and hates herself and her brother but the reason why is because of his horrid smell it keeps those that want to hurt them away from them other immortals like their father. They pretty much live their lives in the water and they can do things with water like their father but he doesn't know it and the only reason they have the problems they do is because of their powers those problems go away when they're in the half blood world with other demi-G-Ds like them in that world she's a mermaid, legs on land and tail in the water, and the not talking so much she has a beautiful voice, but its part of her powers her singing is like a siren song.Complete
