Jaycee Nicole Whittaker was a warrior. She probably didn't know how strong she was until she turned 13. But, everyday since then, for seven years now, she knew she was. The fear of dying was sometimes overwhelming, but as seasons flew by like dust, she became immune to it. The fear of death itself was a different story. To her knowlege, death was made of many shades. From the darkest black of a cave, to the most intense ocean water silmilar to her eyes, there were many. Her only fear was finding a dull color. After years of wating, she finally comes across the eyes of a man that were different. Though stuck in his ways of using women for a minute of pleasure, she knew he could change. Even the man himself coudn't see it, but she could. Even the strong arms of her father and the gentle lipstick stain left on her cheeks from her mother were no match for the peace she felt when this man looked at her. He was willing to change his ways for her in the long run. As he found himself in her, he knew he was falling and she saved him from drowning is his very own self. He was more than willing, and would take care of her like no other. The struggle would be hard and though his fearful eyes watched her fading away slowly as the seconds rushed by, he would never leave. He would be there till the end, making sure that diamond necklace that she held so dearly would always remain around her neck, holding every drop of love that poured from his heart. Though it tried, the demon named Cancer wouldn't keep him from loving her.

We were watching TV, my father and I, waiting for my mother to come down. We were going to go somewhere for my birthday but it was a surprise. I was so excited and so happy. I couldn't wait. We heard some noise. My mother was there but she didn't look so well. "Meredith, what's wrong? Are you Ok?" He asked. Then I saw a red patch on her chest and a huge knife across it. "Mum!" I yelled running towards her. "It's gonna be Ok, sunshine." He said. We were both crying. We had her in our arms. "I love you both." She said weakly. And she died. She actually died. My own mother died. We cried. Then we heard another noise. We looked up to see a tall strong guy. He was scary. "Get up!" He ordered. My father held me tight in his arms and obeyed. He pulled a gun at him and shot him. "Dad!" I yelled. "Dad." I cried. Why was this happening to me? "Get up!" The guy ordered me. I listened. He pointed a gun at me. I was so scared. And then I was saved. This is my story and my name is Michael White. __________ I'd like to thank @SnoopyANDWoodstick_ for the cover. Xxx
