The Hustler & The Angel Chapter 1 The Beckoning

Our main character faces cancer and what seems to be certain death, being one who rarely took the normal course of action pulls a list of 100 things to get done before it too late. A bucket list some call it that includes jetting around the world with assorted experiences that goes so far as to making plans for the hiring of a male escort for the sensual side of her escapades.

Coming into her fifties Jodi's life style on the surfaces seems rather normal except for when her budget doesn't make ends meet. That is when she can be found in grimy corners hustling games of pool, once in there Jodi has no trouble handling what ever may come along.

What Jodi hadn't counted on, comes from a mark that has joined forces that may over turn her list. Will Jodi get her bucket list off the ground before it’s too late or will this unknown partnership win the battle for Jodi’s plans? The clock ticks and time is running out, will Jodi’s list find victory?

Jodi may have her struggles with men, love and basically living as single woman but she isn’t alone. Her friends come from different backgrounds and ideology but what the scraps they have left creates a bond of sisterhood that will bring Jodi to a journey that she hadn’t expected.
