Angels and demons live on separate land: Heaven and hell obviously. It's almost like the human world, theres work, houses, buildings, school for younger kids etc... Y/n is a teenage angle who's job is too deliver, like a delivery woman/man :) It's rare to have to send letters to hell though, they also have their delivery person. As one day the young Y/n is sent off by one of the writers to send a note to hell she was so nervous since she never even set foot on the bridge. The only thing dividing heaven and hell is the very long bridge/border that connects the two lands. It would take a human many hours to cross it but since wings exist there it's faster once you know how to fly. While Gabriel Martinez lived a relatively normal life in a good job position as a librarian, he never really accepted his almost sealed fate, to marry a woman and have children as soon as possible. He was in need of a breath for so many years. Yet he could never use a chance due to his aching limbs and his lacking social skills. The longer it took, the more he lost. Being restricted and socially outcasted was never how they'd planned their lives to be. But being gay men and foreingners in postwar America left them no choice but to stay behind closed doors and making sure that nobody would ever find out about their sexuality, making sure that no rumors could ever make it far. Both of them needed a breif pause. Even if it would only be short lived. This story explores the fears and the lives of two gay, fictional characters in the 1960's and a relationship between diffrent cultures and classes within a restrictive system, that believes they shouldn't exist.
