Mya Brooks. A 17-year-old social butterfly with the sassiest attitude but the kindest heart. It is now her senior year at Willmont High School and things couldn't get more hectic between College Applications, Graduation, Scholarship, and the overall stress of being a 17 year old. But a pair of golden eyes make it all a little less stressful.
Jay Rowland. An awkwardly cute 18-year-old senior that attracts a lot of girls with, but only one catches his eye. Senior year at Wilmont High School will be one of the greatest experiences he's ever had. Scholarships for his basketball career are rolling in and graduations just around the corner.

My goal is to fulfill my dream of being a writer and poet. And some experiences might be based on real life experiences of some people I know, mainly at school! Struggles of some characters will be reflected and shown in some chapters, showing their most vulnerable, and lowest points of their daily lives. The Boy ✔️
"Would you like to dance?" the boy asks me. I stare deep into his blue eyes, but I can't figure out who he is. He's tall with dark hair and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen. I know everyone at this school, but with his features hidden behind his mask I can't tell who he is. "Sure, I would love to." Did I just say that? I agreed to dance with a random boy who I don't know. He takes my hand and leads me to the dance floor. We dance for a few songs and then he asks me, "Would you like to take a walk? I know the perfect place." I nod and he pulls me behind him off the dance floor. We leave the hotel and start walking down a little path. At the end of the path I notice a little fountain surrounded by candles. I wonder if he set this up. We walk over to the fountain and we sit down on the edge. "I had a wonderful time tonight," says the guy. He reaches to his face and removes his mask. I recognize him immediately. How did I not know it before? *** Carter Bennett has managed to survive her first 3 years of high school. Everything has been amazing... for the most part. She had her life completely planned out. Sunflower Love
Sunflowers bloom and are usually cut once fully grown. They're marvelous flowers. Bright and magical, plus they smell absolutely wonderful. The catch is that once they're cut they might never come back, but if they do they'll never be quite as beautiful as they were when they first blossomed. My Sunflower loves came in all forms; a boy named Michael, a girl who adored bugs, and a picture taken by a guy I knew as Liam. But Theodore Cade Montgomery was determined to make sure he wasn't a Sunflower. I am way out of my league when I stand beside him, but he never seems to want to let go of my hand. ❁ ~-- I wish they told me how hard it would be to navigate through dating if you never experienced a relationship in high school.
