Scarlett has never considered herself different. She was a part of a pack were everyone was different from each other. For her, it was normal. But what she did consider herself was a warrior. And she was, in a very literal way. Scarlett was her pack's beta and their strongest warrior.
Living inside a boundary where she was surrounded by people who had nothing in common with each other but lived like family was what Scarlett thought her life would always be like. With her best friend by her side, who happened to be the alpha and understood her without her having to say anything and training her pack to be the strongest pack, that was her life. And she never wanted it to change. But, of course, she doesn't control that.
