There comes a point in everyone's life where they have to draw a line. Whether it be confronting a liar or saying to no alcohol or sex, we all have to. I draw the line at my dad choosing his girlfriend over his family. Hi I'm Lizzie. I'm 15 years old. I have a crush on the cutest guy at Camp Longhorn and he likes me. I'm one of the most popular kids at my school. I'm I'm choir and in all Advanced Placement classes. What more could I want? My mom. She died in 2009 after a 2 year battle with Stage 4 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She was my whole world. I thought life was going to end. That's when I met Jake. He turned my world upside down. He understood what I was dealing with. What was I dealing with exactly? My dad meeting and falling in love with Zane. Who I call It. It is such a brat. It is a cradle robber. It is exactly 7 years and 4 days older than my dad. It is about to become my step-it. This is my story about falling in love, stopping my dad from marrying It, and planning and stopping a wedding, all while trying to juggle school, friends, and love.
