This is an alternate time line story.

In 2008 the one and only Tony Stark is kidnapped by a group of terrorists that are hell bent on taking over the world. Tony rises as the Armored Avenger known as Iron-Man and escapes his captives.
After escaping the cave Tony vows to never allow dangerous weapons to fall into the wrong hands. After returning home Tony shut down the weapons development section of his company and began perfecting his armor in the war on terror.
But he is soon betrayed by an old friend who tries to kill him and take his arc reactor, the device in his chest that is keeping him alive. Our story begins...

Meanwhile Peter Parker was having the worst day ever. He just wanted to help people but instead he gets stabbed. That's just his luck.
