Ella Tate is the sixteen year old daughter of Kim Tate. When Ella was ten and Kim went to prison ella and her younger sister Lexi went into a care home. Ella felt uncomfortable there and she had a right to be, Ella and Lexi were abused in their care home by the care worker.

Ella did her best for Lexi to try and protect her only to get the worst of the abuse. Ella was beaten and raped as she tried to protect Lexi. Ella struggles with what happened with her especially when she goes back to Kim. Kim knows that there is something changed in her daughters especially Ella but will kim be able to find out the truth?
