Life shatters all around you. It shatters when you least expect it, leaving you defenseless and scared. What do you do when you feel that you have no where else to go? Pull the trigger or keep going? Search for that light at the end of the tunnel. It might seem almost nonexistent, but the more you lean into its embrace, the more it shows. The more the light shows, the more you learn that life is worth those bumps in the road. What She Learned is a poetry book about growing up, letting go, and learning to accept yourself for who you are, scares and all. You may not be perfect, but you are worth it. I hope you enjoy and I hope these poems help you as much as they have helped me. I do not own the original cover of the story. I just used it for the story.

Know me

"Life is but a calling card. A chance, a spiraling sensation of nothing, that with time turns into everything." Know me is a short story. A piece of life written just as it was lived. All of our experiences help us grow along the years. Life never stops, our minds either. Its chaos, and this book treats it as so. There is no specific order to life's events. So, with whatever hand we are dealt, we march on. We learn about ourselves, how we love, how our minds work. We doubt everything. We question our existence in this piece of dirt. We seek purpose in everything we do. Only to find out that maybe life takes the shape we give it. I hope these words take the shape of anything you need.
