Empires of Ash

When a young woman wins a competition sponsored by the king of her nation she's tasked with jounrneying across the sea to infiltrate a kingdom where rumors of the return of long since extinct magic have arisen.

While back home, the king deals with the myriad of issues plaguing his nation and the continent as he attempts to discretely plan a way to save it from what may be a looming destrction.

And, across the sea, another king, seeks to do what he must to save the nation he chrishes the most, be it through violence and death, he will make sure his people are safe and secured above all else.

As these three worlds interact seperate from each other the world begins its slow descent into what could be its next age of darkness.
