She loves the chase, the thrill and the mushy-mushy feelings that come with a crush; he doesn't give a damn about romance. She wants a filmy romantic life but is phobic to the responsibilities and the ever after that is a part of the real-life; he is a GHOST of sorts, as nobody sees him much and nobody cares. She is child-like, street-smart, energetic, weirdo; He is a social recluse. She lives in a dream world; He lives the mundane life of building a career.

When Meera Nanda is presented with an arranged marriage proposal to Eshaan Poddar, she is stumped. Eshaan was a guy with whom she fell in fantasy with, because he was her 'Jab We Met' story. But then radical feminist upbringing comes in the way and she is forced to give up on the fantasy earlier than she would have.

Meera meets Eshaan in the literature lab class amidst 80 people, of which 77 were guys and only 3 girls. Of all the boys, Eshaan's simplicity and calmness catch her eye.
