Asten Lamaene has been subjected to endless pain and suffering by the Andarian monarchy. But through all of the constant darkness in her life, an opportunity to emerge into the light has been presented to her. As appalling as it might be to work for the man who ruined her life, it certainly would be much better than being held prisoner under millions of tons of ocean water.
