I stood near the corners of hell without getting burned. - s.n. Like nightmares, we stood near the edges, screaming and crying. Our only hope was being saved, dragged in to the warm hands of our heroes. Comforted with their voices, a melody of relief. * * * * "You don't understand." "Than tell me. For fucking sake, tell me because I can't watch losing you." "You don't know, okay. You don't know what I see. I'm losing myself and for once in my life I want to join the devil in hell." "Sitting in the corner in front of me was Zoe. But then again, it wasn't. It had her body, but it was warped into something vile. Her eyes were glazed over in the same blood red, hellfire taking over her pupils. Her hair was darker than before, if that was possible, her skin lighter, her veins visible. But the worst was her smile. It wasn't the smile I knew. The way her lips curled up, her teeth slightly shown, wasn't Zoe. The crooked smirk, the hollowness of her laugh, that wasn't Zoe. That was something else entirely." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ They say that eyes are the windows to the soul. So what does it mean when I look into her eyes and see the fires of hell? I'm Mickey. A small town girl with a small town's view of the world. But after going into that house, things get a little freaky in Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. Reoccurring dreams keep me awake, and memories haunt me during the day. But then, I meet Zoe. Combat boots, metal music, and red highlights, with a fiery attitude to match. With a fear of next to nothing and curiosity the size of North America, she's the reason I find myself in that house again. But this time, we don't come out of there so lucky. As ghosts become reality, and demons become things that aren't only found in horror movies, we find out that we must help what's good and send what's evil back to where it truly belongs. And when those demons become problems, both figuratively and realistically, we soon find out that this is a test that we need each other to pass. Highest Ranking: - #89 in Ghost Story - #613 in Paranormal (not incredibly high or anything, but I'm proud)
