The story is about Brendon becoming cursed to turn into a monster every night at the stroke of midnight. The Demon in this story is not like you have seen in the Emperor's New Clothes Music Video, but more violent and darker than the music video version. The creature is referred to as IT at the beginning of the story, the Demon has become embedded in part of Brendon's soul now eats the flesh and blood of those who sinned against humanity. The LA PD has gotten involved about the killings of comevited Murders and criminals trying to figure out who or what is doing all of these killings. Brendon starts to get worried about the Demon killing those who he loves, having vivid nightmares night after night about the Demon killing his one true love the one he loves the most dear, Sarah. Brendon leaves the city to keep the Demon away from killing more and even worse killing Sarah when he turns into the Demon...

How long will he keep this dark secret away from anyone? 
Will he ever get his normal life back? 
How long till the Demon takes over Brendon's mind, being lost forever?

We all know the story. Brendon held the Devil's Key, the most mystic, most coveted item in the world. Everyone wanted it. Everyone would've kill for it. When Brendon wakes up to the woman who took the key from him dead on the floor and the Devil's Key in his possession but broken with no memory of how any of it happened, he must turn to the only person that he would have any chance of getting help from to regain his memories and figure out how to fix the key. This is my very first short story, so we'll see how this goes 😂 Since his name was never explicitly mentioned in the Say Amen, This is Gospel or Emperor's New Clothes MVs (as it has been said in other music videos) Brendon will be referred to as either his codename "Ringmaster" by others in his line of work or simply B by his best friend a.k.a. The second character I created for only the purposes of this story or the narrator a.k.a. me. "Lucky" a.k.a. PJ and the character Popcorn belongs to me Everything else probably belongs to Panic! At the Disco and things associated with the band and Brendon *UPDATE* I went through and cleaned up the writing a bit, hopefully it reads better.
