Clark Kent and his friends plans for a weekend change as the appearances of two time-travelers.  One has come to kill Clark and the other has come back to save him.  The person who has been sent to protect Clark is more than just his protector but a long time friend from a wonderful future.  Who is she?  Diana of Themiscyra. A deleted scene from my story Smallville: Annual just before the last chapter. After all Clark and Diana had been through in her mission to save his younger self I meant to consummate the feelings between Clark and Diana in a love scene and have done my best to make sure it doesn't come off as coarse. Its passion as well as a conversation between two lovers who care about each other and who share of their bodies but also their lives and feelings with each other. I was originally going to leave it but I believe only implying would have been better especially for a PG-13 audience. Unfortunately because of a chapter in the middle being considered to rough on violence I had no choice but to make this a completely R rated story even if I still believe its PG-13.

A heart murmur is the secret sound beneath the steady rhythm - the quiet confession the heart makes when it can no longer beat in silence. Not loud enough to alarm, but impossible to ignore once heard.
