High school is not an easy time. And when you're a telekinetic who knows more about fighting monsters than keeping up with the trends, it's a lot worse. El Hopper has one escape from the stresses of high school: singing. So when her best friends encourage her to audition for the school play, she decides to give it a try. The play, Carrie, ends up hitting very close to home, and it doesn't help that her life is playing out like she's the underdog hero of a musical. Friendships and rivalries are made both onstage and off, and sadly not all problems are washed away by singing about them. This play could help El shine in front of her classmates, or it could be curtains for her social life forever, but one thing is for sure: after this play, everybody will know her name.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world.
The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
