"I'm not sure about this, what if she hates what you're suggesting? Even worse what if she decides to leave me or wants a divorce?" I looked at him with furrowed brows as I thought of what Brooks reaction would be. I tugged at my hair before running my hand through it.

He continues to stare at me, a pregnant silence falling between us. The nerve of him! Like I said I am not blind to the signs that have been in the back of my mind for some time. The way he looks at her, the way she looks at him when she thinks I am not looking. The blush she shows which she only had for me at one time. The slight touching of their bodies with skin-on-skin contact. All in innocence I tried to convince myself. Really? Who am I kidding? Of course they would feel something for one another. Even I can see how all the women drool over him, even my own wife.
