Oh my god, Lara! Shut up!
My grip wavered as his hand came around my face, holding my cheek in his delicate touch. He brushed his thumb against my lower lip, his eyes averting back-and-forth between my eyes and lips. He ran his fingers up my abdomen, gliding it up my cleavage to my mouth. My hold on him softened until I completely let go-my hand falling limp in between us. My pulse throbbed in my wrist.
He tilted my face up.
"Do you?"
My breathing picked up pace as I tried to concentrate on my feelings. His hands roamed about my body, leaving a trail of burning sensation to grow from his intoxicating touch.
"Do you?" I countered.
He smirked, his thumb grazing harder against my lips. He inched his face closer to mine. My heartbeat picked up pace. I didn't know what to do. My body froze as I tried to comprehend my next move.
God! Why couldn't this be as easy as sparring?
"I don't know, Lara," he said. He dipped his head low, and my eyes automatically fell shut. "Do I?"
His lips crashed on mine.
