I quickly turned around and in my agitated voice I said, "can I help you?"
They stopped laughing as the guy who shoved me earlier leaned front so his lips were right next to my ear.
I felt hot air when he said in his deep and raspy voice, "I'm going to make your life a living hell."
I froze, but then I unfroze registering what just happened. No one talks to me like that.
"We'll see about that," I said as I got up and slapped him hard across his face leaving a red mark.
He turned his head back to me putting his hand on his cheek. He clenched his jaw and his eyes got darker when I thought it wouldn't get darker.
Everything changes for Audrey starting Junior year. She's new to the school and she comes face to face with the schools bad boy. After that, everything changes. Is it fate, or is it not meant to be?

My sight is a blur from crying and the only thing I see is red. I'm starting to feel sick from all the screaming and the desperate voices for help. She didn't reply and I felt her finger move across my skin, lower, and almost all the way down my lower back. A shiver coursed through my body, strangely pleasant, and I felt her finger stop.
