In a world run by organizations both trying to keep humanity from learning of the not so normal creatures that live in it, and trying to destroy any none homosapian out there exists a small group that have spent centuries trying to hide themselves. This became increasingly difficult with the advance of technology. Not many were willing to forge documents so another could pass as human. The only thing we continually needed was a birth certificate.
Unfortunately with all the fighting you couldn't just go somewhere and get one. Not without picking a side. I got lucky. As a baby I was found outside a hospital. The doctors guessed my age and gave me a name so I could be put into the system. My adoptive parents had it revised after the adoption went through.
My name is Iris Viki Yates and I am what I dubbed a Blood Venous. I am a vampiric humanoid plant. If you didn't guess blood is from the vampire side of things and venus is in reference to the venus flytrap. Pretty nifty huh. Anyway this is my story starting with when I met a fan of my alter ego Ivy the mystery singer.

Standing on the path, my life flashed before my eyes. The gun directed at me, went off. I could see the flash and the bullet coming straight for me, but I'm frozen to the spot I'm standing, unable to move or think clearly. It only registered with me that the bullet pierced my skin when my body impacted on the cold wet cement. Lying there I could hear my heartbeat slow as my blood flowed from my body. That's when I heard it, footsteps getting closer til a man face appeared in front of me. But my vision is too blurry to see him clearly. That' s when he spoke, "You will be reborn. I'm giving you a second chance.You are not my beloved so you will wake up a soulless killer with no remorse and a burning desire for blood. I can't give you a normal life but I'm giving you the chance for revenge. I can't tell you what to expect because I don't know myself. I have no idea why I'm changing you but something is telling me it is not you're time to die" I had no idea what he' s talking about, well not til I woke up. That night Ivy died and what was reborn is something dark and dangerous. He was right, I am a soulless monster. I have no remorse for the blood I shed. He once told me no one knows the real him.I didn't think he meant it, and not in a good way. He is a straight A student, and everyone knows it, not to mention he is on the swim team. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.Completa

Human Status
I live in a world where I am nameless. I live in a world where I do not matter except or unless I am owned by someone. I do not have rights, freedoms, joys, wishes, or aspirations. I am property. I was born and raised to belong to someone that will one day take me away like the fairy tale stories that I listened to everyday in the house I live in. I prayed every night that a handsome prince would come and take me to live in his castle just like in the books. I prayed that I would be a princess and have a kingdom just like in the books. But I was never told that the books were all lies. I was never told the true reason why I was a well sought after commodity. I was never told that I am not the only one like me. When I found out it was too late to save myself. To think and in less than 4 days I will be taken away from my current home and be in a home of my own. I sat on the simple wooden bed hoping that my owner was nice and kind. I hated to think about some of the stories that I heard about the other girls like me. I hated thinking about being exterminated because I made my owner unhappy. I thought to myself that I would try real hard to keep him happy.
