In a world different yet similar to our own, tension rises. The Earth was split into Four States years ago: the North, the East, the South and the West. It was fine, until resources started to run out. Governments started breaking laws and agreements.

This led to wars. 

This led to the rise of a so called "Terror" organisation: Manumission.

All this led to the oppression of media. 

The general public is painfully ignorant, no one speaks about the other States.

Jamie was like those people. He just wanted to live, spending his time with his wife and becoming a punk icon with his band. It was all good and well till the familiar scent of ashes and flashes of the same blood red hair came a face from the past. He hasn't seen Her in years, not since she was Taken when they were 17. His moral compass had eroded under the pressure of a world gone mad, leaving him to cross any line - whether it's killing threats without hesitation or taking hostages to secure resources for his group. Sometimes the living are far more dangerous than the dead... A broken world brought them together. She had a shattered soul, and him, a hardened heart. There was much more to face before they saw a future. Many scars, tears and losses to endure before they saw the light.
