a tale of Phannes

Duo to an event in space several objects but mostly food items and other biologicall matter turned alive in the year 1960. 59 years later its the year 2019 and the living objects have developed and more complex anatomy (or generally one).
Some of the living objects have their last name as simply the thing they are some dont, some dont even have an first name and get referred to as mr (object) or whatever they are wether dr, mr or mrs. The species of living object has been named "Phannes" by the humans and not just "living objects"
