Skylar lives in a small town in Hawaii with her mom, step-dad, and brother. They seem like just the perfect family, but she knows otherwise. What happens behind closed doors can never be shared with the world, and is enough to create fear in even the bravest of people.
Buck is new to the town, he lives with his mom and sister, they drive him nuts but he always does his best to protect them with all he has. With his senior year starting very soon his is none to happy about being in a completely new place where he knows no one and he has no reputation, although that could be a good thing to him.
Some mild language and talks of abuse.
