Jessica misses her best friend dearly, who died during the summer of 7th grade. Losing the only guide to the confusion of her teenage life, Jessica is left feeling hopeless when things start to go wrong. But just as things were taking a turn for the worse, a new girl appears, who like Jessica was also facing hardships. It was then Jessica decided she was going to help this girl out like her best friend did for her. Unfortunately, it turns out that it's much harder than it seems.

This book is a short story, so it doesn't have a lot of chapters. However, I hope you enjoy it. The purpose is to spread awareness about a topic I hold close to my heart. It is to also to encourage those who are dyslexic. . . . . . Miya Marshall is a 12 year old 7th grader. She goes though her first year in Clare Hall High with mostly D's and F's. She hates reading, and barely writes notes in her classes. When Miya is kicked off the basketball team and is on the verge of repeating 7th grade, her parents intervenes and find out that Miya's poor academic performance is not entirely her fault.
