Dragon Bound - The Saga of Flames and Frost
Illara had trained all her life for this moment. She had been chosen - from all eligible women throughout the three kingdoms - to be presented to the dragon. Her noble sacrifice would ensure the safety of her lands for a full year. She glowed with pride at the thought. And any moment now the massive dragon would come soaring over the mountains, his massive strength and awesome power - What was this? Along a rocky pass, moving with the persistence of a love-struck cow, was something metallic. Something shiny. Her heart thundered with panic as the object drew closer and resolved into a shape. For she knew it could ruin everything. It could cause the destruction of all she held dear. It was a knight. * * * Half of all proceeds of the Dragon novelettes benefit battered women's shelters. While this first book is non-explicit, due to the strong sexual content and adult situations in future books, this romantic suspense series is recommended for readers aged 17+. The series is structured for readers to read along as I write them to offer feedback and suggestions on the complex storyline. If you're the style of reader who would prefer to wait until the entire series is finished before you tackle it, that is fine! Simply wait until the series is complete and I'll offer the boxed set. I do that with all of my books. The reason I publish as I write is that I don't write full time and it can sometimes take months for me to finish up a storyline. There are readers who don't want to wait - who would rather read along as I go and stay engaged in the process. That way they can provide feedback and suggestions on the storyline. Whichever way works well for you, I provide an option. I'd love to hear from you at my website at OpheliaSikes.com.Complete

Damsel Knight
Sometimes the best knight is a damsel. In a world where women are seen as weak, defenceless creatures for men to protect and own, one orphan girl wants to be different. She dreams of being a knight. Slaying dragons, taking down armies with her father's sword. Only her foster parents don't agree with her views. On the night of her betrothal to a man over twice her age, the King's soldiers come to their tiny village, and in the chaotic aftermath she's left with a choice. Go back to life she knows and marry a man she despises. Or journey onward and risk death to earn the knighthood she dreams of. The road forward isn't a safe one for a girl travelling with only her foster brother as company. Magic lurks in dark places. Vengeance burrows deep in many equally dark hearts. And all around the circle armies are gathering to defend the Kingdom against a threat not seen for a thousand years. This is the first part of the 140 thousand word fantasy adventure.Complete
Taniel (The Taverner's Daughter I)
THE TAVERNER'S DAUGHTER - BOOK ONE FANTASY, MAGIC, DRAGONS, ROMANCE, WINGED WIZARDS. Please Note: The rest of this series will not be published until the complete series is drafted and revised - probably another four volumes over the next year. However, this book doesn't end on some really bad cliffhanger, and I think it has a satisfactory 'end' feel, so do read it if you wish. After mistaking a leather-clad wizard for a dragonrider, the taverner's daughter agrees to binding vows: Jarryd hopes for a magic-saving paternity spell but Taniel just wants his dragon. Of course, it is not that simple. It never is. Others have plans for Taniel and can do without Jarryd's interference. Taniel's father is little help, too busy dealing with a guilty conscious and pining for his missing wife. Add talking dragons, kidnappings, a gallivanting Grandmaster Wizard, a wicked stepfather, seductive shape shifting winged wizards, and midwitchery. Stir with rumour of plotting land-locked pirates, spies, feisty forest sprites, rockgoblins, and a failing magical barrier. Welcome to the world of A Corrangorachian Fantasy. SOME MILD MATURE MOMENTS (but maybe not enough to mark MATURE): A few not-particularly-graphic sex scenes. Violence? Could get nasty, depending on your perception. Drug Use? Pipe smoking, copious alcohol, and the odd potion. And some coarse language, of course. (AUSTRALIAN - BRITISH ENGLISH)Complete
