Welcome to the Yonkers slums, far from gentrifying - we find fourteen-year-old Hunter. He is just your average kid struggling on the poverty line. He has a hardworking single mother and an older brother who had once been the captain of the football team and golden boy, who now pumps gas to support his drinking and partying. The one upside to having Craig for a brother is getting to be close to his girlfriend Andy. She is tough, absolutely vulgar, but beautiful and Hunter believes with all his heart that she is the best of them, that she will make it out of Yonkers. On a cold night in the rain, Andy arrives dripping to the Gibson household and in a moment of weakness, Andy makes Hunter's wildest dreams come true. Nineteen-year-old Andy must deal with the consequences of her actions and Hunter goes on to pursue the girl of his dreams.
