In a small town, two strangers follow an aging blood trail in search of a killer long gone, long dead, or hiding in plain sight.

It was a brisk February afternoon in Bradswell, Indiana when twelve-year-old David Halbert disappeared on his way home from school. Most assumed the boy had gotten lost or simply run away- until his body was discovered in a shallow grave two months later.
Thirty-four years after the fact, the case remains open, the boy's murderer never caught.

Texas college student Lauren Fairgrave finds herself drawn to the cold case after receiving a series of calls from an unfamiliar Indiana number. There's no caller ID, and the number's been out of use for years, but the calls keep coming.

Lauren isn't the only one who wants answers, however. Scott Halbert, the victim's older brother, is just as eager to bring David's killer to justice. He's willing to do whatever it takes to see it through, but the clock is ticking.

The real kicker? Scott's been dead since March of '86.

Flowers for you

24 parts Complete

All is well in Patty's life until her best friend goes missing. No note. No texts, just got up and was gone the next day. People say she ran off with some guy, or was hiding because she was pregnant with notorious bad boy, that Patty never seemed to like, Jasper Mckinley's child. Some say, she's dead. Patty denies all of it. She knew Jasmine like the back of her hand and she was convinced she did not run away or fell in a ditch somewhere. A year has passed. But she never stopped believing her best friend was still alive. So what happens when a stranger suddenly sends her flowers with notes about things only Jasmine and her would know? And she finds herself asking for help from the very guy she suspects? Everything starts to become a game. For every flower delivered to her doorstep, the chances of finding her best friend alive, decreases.
