The Collection of Borrower of Brighton Rewrites and Additions. This Anthology is a personal project of mine to rewrite the series in a way that makes me happier. It also is a challenge for me to do something a bit more out of my comfort zone in the four new books that will be part of this as well: the events from Seán's point of view.
So, if you liked my Borrower of Brighton series, here's another chance to hang out with Ani and Seán as they get into all sorts of trouble, now with (hopefully) better and longer plot lines!

You're a 25 year old artist who lives by yourself in Brighton UK. You don't have much time for people since you're trying to make a name for yourself and not be a "starving artist." But one person catches your interest, and apparently you caught their interest too. And that person would be Seán William McLoughlin. "I was worried about you." He finally said and pulled away to look me in the eyes. "I thought you had gotten hurt or something." I sighed. "Sorry about that..." I mumbled and hung my head. He took my chin in his hand and lifted my head up so I looked into his eyes. "There's nothing to be sorry for, but please, tell me when you're hurting. I'm here for you." I was trapped in his eyes, like I was being hypnotized. "that's what friends are for right?" He quickly added. "Yeah..." i wish we were more than friends though. The Sugar Thief (G/T) (Completed)
My first ever g/t work. Inspired by Arrietty, although different plot. Contains sfw interactions only (minus some angst) (43,000~ words). Everything takes place in modern day, but in a fictional reality where little beings (borrowers) live in the walls and take things that humans don't need. They're incredibly timid creatures, but excellent survivors and very agile. They'd look 100% human if not for their ears, tails, and feet. Carter is the youngest in a family of four, resilient with a daredevil spirit. After a tragic turn of events he's left to fend for his own, and manages alright, until the unimaginable happens. Jessica is a Neko who is also tiny. She lives in a pet shop, depressed and sad. James Ember is a giant who ends up taking her in. Jessica is shy at first, and the two slowly build up a bond. Then Jessica had a slight meltdown, and they two separate. But then when an old villain shows up to take her, James ends up taking her back. But secretly they both want that. The two have their quirks and their struggles as the two grow an even stronger bond. Not only does James take in Jessica, he takes in two other nekos. As well as a human. He'll find that life gets more eventful with the four, and his love for borrowers grows, but always remember that it all started with one tiny neko. His best friend becomes the fifteen year old Jessica, despite being in his twenties/really-really early thirties (I never really had a set age for him and you'll notice the same with Jessica). This shows that when it comes to a borrower and giant's bond, age doesn't matter. Because Jame, a giant, becomes best friends with Jessica, a tiny NekoComplete
