[ Fiction story based and inspired by a YouTube comment under Paubaya Official Music video of Moira Dela Torre. Name and person mentioned is NOT REAL or related to the owner of the story to which this was inspired from. the excerpt is pulled from Youtube comment. All credits to her.] [The Story of us. We met in school. We were each other's greatest competitor. We were not fond of each other. But as the months passed by, we started to know each other, we had shared a couple of back stories as we worked on our group presentation. We became friends, then close friends, and then after a year, we became lovers. But just when I thought that everything was in their right place, my biggest downfall came. After our third anniversary, he started to become cold. He no longer joins me studying, he was even reasoning out that he's tired all the time and that he couldn't send me home. I said it was fine, I can manage. I thought it was just that, but it wasn't. I decided to confront him, I went to his condo and there, my greatest fear welcomed me without warning. He was with a woman, a pregnant woman. He was holding her like she's the most fragile thing on earth. They looked so happy. I didn't know how I managed to compose myself and walked towards them. As soon as our eyes met, he froze. I looked at the woman tensely and lifted my hand as I introduced myself as his classmate and she introduced herself as his girlfriend for a year, already. He said he loves her more. That every time we are together, his mind was with her. He said I make him hard, but she makes him weak. He said I make him feel special, but she makes him feel loved. He told me to punch him and berate him for he would rather end our relationship than leave her and their baby.] But the story, my story doesn't end there because I chose to move forward and be the strong woman that I am.Complete

Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." He brings his hand, sticking his pinky out. "pinky promise."I wrap mine around his, placing a kiss on his lips. Warning before you read!! This is my first book! This book will contain topics of SA, eating disorders, and mature content, if any of these things may bother you in anyway, please scroll! I hope when I finish this book I can public a clean version, with a different perspective leaving out these topics, but for now, this is how i've envisioned this story to go! Enjoy -Ash🌸

For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. And that she could always be wrong about boys... ✨✨✨ Sidenote: I wrote this from November 2010 to April 2011, only a year ahead from the time set in the novel. This was fully uploaded on Wattpad in September 2013 for safekeeping. I hadn't gotten back to it in so many years nor find any means and time to promote it. This had long been completed but still needs edit. Enjoy reading! Cheers! P.S. This is not exactly a love story. And yet, it may read a lot like it.Complete
An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!Complete
