Messiah: Savior from Above

For as long as Tara could remember, the sky was the harbinger of death. Every five years, it collected her people's flesh as bounty and gave nothing in return. All were destined to eventually fall victim.

The girl's fate finally changed after her beloved grandfather met his end. She wished for the nightmare to end - for the sky to finally give back. And for once it listened, bestowing upon her a boy with a strange appearance and the answer to her people's suffering.
