Siren's Grove had always been like a second home for Kiara and her older sister, Amelia. Every summer as little girls, their mother would take them to their family's lake house, where they spent all day swimming in the Great Lake, fishing, and playing in the sun with the other children in town. However, one summer out of the blue, Kiara's mother packed up their belongings and rushed out of the lake front town never to return again. After this summer, not a word was spoken or heard about Siren's Grove. That is, until Amelia's body is found washed up in the Great Lake.
Not even a year later, after Kiara's mother falls into depression and loses her job along with their home, Kiara is forced to spend her senior year in the town haunted by her sister's accident. Broken from the loss of her best friend, Kiara is determined to find out the reason behind Amelia's death. But the more she learns about Siren's Grove, the darker the secrets the town keeps become. Faced with a high school full of preppy students determined to keep Kiara on the outs and a beautiful boy almost as mysterious as Siren's Grove itself, Kiara needs more bravery than she ever thought possible.
