When a great pharaoh dies, leaving no capable male heir to take his place, his palace falls into chaos. His eldest daughter rises to the occasion to save the dynasty from forces without and conspiracies within. As her nephew and rightful heir to the throne grows older it becomes clear that a woman can become king, but may not remain so. Can she throw off the curse of time and culture to remain in power, and even, perhaps place her daughter on the throne?
