Lydianna Salvatore, the fraternal twin of Stefan Salvatore and the younger sibling of Damon Salvatore.

The brothers both believed that Lydianna had died of an illness, the influenza, after Katerina Petrova was supposedly thrown into the tomb underneath the old Fell church.

But what they didn't realize is that someone had taken her and turned her into a blood thirsty monster she feared to be.

Soon Lydianna happens to pass through Mystic Falls to reunite with her family, but with a secret. All those years of not wanting to accept of what she had became, she took another way out.

And that way was to kill all super natural creatures who caused harm to innocent humans. While going on her journey of saving people she ends up falling for a certain Gilbert.

A retelling of the Hades and Persephone myth, a story of fate, the struggle for power, and love found in the most unexpected places. ***** Persephone has been raised in Olympus all her life - her mother absent, her father a cruel king, with her siblings teaching her all they know. She has seen all of what the gods and goddesses do and she is sick of it. When she learns her safety is threatened by staying in Olympus, she flees to the Underworld. There she stays until she learns that her leaving has caused the world to wilt. But leaving behind her newfound friends and Lady of the Underworld is something she will not do willingly, no matter the consequences.
