Not so good poems that are made late at night in a daze. Half asleep, half awake... I'm never sure what I'm writing till I'm finally fully awake to see what my nightmares and dreams have brought me.
Most make me cry, others make me smile, but some leave me with an empty sense.
These are all things to be interpreted however you please, thank you for taking time to indulge my sleepless nonsense and tales of woe.
(Again, they look to be in a poem format but don't seem to flow like a typical poem would. Slightly repetitive)
Although that may change over time to become more than poems or just simple phrases.

Greetings dear readers! This is my first ever poems book. And um I wrote these all based on my personal experiences. As you may journey through chapters of this book based on my life and events throughout. A little sprinkle of the chapters are fictional but nearly all are non-fiction straight from reality. Abroad
The purpose of this poetry book is one of defiance. Not to others, or anything in particular. It is against the war we wage internally, against ourselves every day. There is no bigger challenge in life than facing your thoughts, your true emotions, your feelings when you lie alone at night by yourself, cornered. We tend to postpone them, shelf them, as we grow accustomed to our daily activities, never giving ourselves a chance to evaluate ourselves. Who are we? what do we lack? what do we need? In this book, I took it upon myself to air out all of my grievances, my intimate thoughts, my happiness, my disappointments, my sadness all out in the open, for all to see. I wanted to face it all. To stare my mortality dead in the eyes, and let the lingering stare sit, I wanted to simmer the feeling of weakness, of every single type of emotion, completely digest it, and let it manifest genuinely, reading it, again and again, perfecting it, again and again, until the feeling of pain subsides.
